Warranty Terms

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing on this page limits those rights, and they are not confined to the warranty period below.

Warranty against defects

InkPoster frames purchased from us carry a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

If a frame is repaired or replaced under warranty, the cover continues for the remainder of the original period or three months from the date it's returned to you, whichever is longer.

How to make a claim

Email us at hello@inkposter.com.au with your order number, a description of the fault, and photos or a short video. Don't send anything back before we've replied - we'll tell you what's needed and arrange collection or return.

What's covered

Defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

What isn't

  • Accidental damage, drops and impacts, including cracked panels

  • Liquid damage

  • Normal wear and cosmetic marks - scuffs, scratches, dents

  • Damage from unauthorised repair or disassembly

  • Damage from use with non-original chargers or accessories

  • Loss of data, settings or uploaded images

About the battery and the panel

Lithium-ion batteries lose capacity gradually with each charge cycle. A reduction in running time over the years is normal wear rather than a fault.

Slight variation in tone across the panel is a characteristic of all E Ink displays and isn't a defect. If you see a faint trace of a previous image, that's ghosting - our support page explains how to clear it.
